Alberta Global Talent Scholarships: Alberta is diversifying her economy for a significant global economic growth and opportunity. The scholarships program contributes to the region's human and economic diversification efforts by attracting global talents committed to making economic impact in Alberta and Canada.
The Global Talent Scholarships Program pays for tuition for citizens of Africa, India and Pakistan with financial need who wish to study certain courses in Alberta, Canada. The Global Talent Scholarships was created to reduce the financial barrier for Africa, India and Pakistan citizens to pursue college, undergraduate and graduate programs in Canada. Up to three thousand (3000) scholarships will be awarded annually from 2022 through 2025 for each eligible country.
Within two years of graduation from a college or university in Alberta, Canada. The beneficiaries are required to work in Alberta for at least one year in a professional role that contributes to the province’s development and Canada at large.
Eligibility: Under-graduate Scholarships

·You must be a citizen of an African country, Pakistan, or India. Permanent residents of an African country, Pakistan or India are not eligible at this time.

You must have completed, or be in the final year of completing, your secondary education.

The most recent academic report sheet or > Minimum of 5 credits in WASSCE (including English and Mathematics). or > HSC/HSSC/All India Senior School Certificate/India School Certificate with minimum of 50% average.

Eligibility: Post-graduate Scholarships

How to Apply
Application for Alberta Global Scholarships Program will be open from March 5th, 2022 to May 30th 2022 (12.00 AM, Edmonton / Mountain Standard Time).
Application Process
Step 1: Submit an application form online.
At this stage you will need to:
upload your most-recent academic report, certificate or transcript.
· upload your statement of purpose. Download a template here
· upload your resume ( Not mandatory)
· indicate that you need an admission at an Alberta College/university or upload an active admission letter.
Your application will be evaluated within 42 days. Once a decision is reached, one of our scholarship administrators will contact you regarding next steps.
Step 2: Successful applicants will receive an award letter and an invite to orientation ceremony. Those already available in Canada may attend the orientation physically while those candidates still awaiting study permit (visa) may join virtually.
Step 3: What you will get:
We will remit the full-tuition directly to the college or university that accepted the candidate.

Are colleges/universities outside Alberta, Canada eligible for the scholarship ?"No. Only Colleges and Universities within Alberta is eligible for the scholarship.

Do I need to pay for the Scholarship application ?No. We do not accept payment for an application for the scholarship. However, if a candidate does not have a current and valid admission letter to be uploaded then, our partner institution will process the admission for the candidate and accept an application fee of CAD $265.

How soon will I get a feedback.Within 42 days starting from the date you submited a complete application.

How can I improve my chance of success ?- Ensure you fill in accurate information. - Ensure your 'statement of purpose' essay reflect your backgroud, skills and future plans. Including reason why you prefer a particular course and want to study in Alberta. - Upload your academic results, certificate or transcrips.

Do you help with visa processing.No. we do not process study permit / visa for you. We share information of visa support/ approved immigration agents for sucessful candidates as part of next steps to ensure you secure a study permit / visa.

Is this a full-tuition scholarship?The scholarship covers full-payment of school fees. We pay directly to the college/university on your behalf.
